Welcome to Pack 69

The picture on the side is of our pack members who attended the Veterans' Day ceremony in Wellsboro.  The links at the bottom of the page are from last year's Winteree.  We are now preparing for Winteree 2013. The directions and item-list information is to help in our planning for the days to come.

Camp GORTON on Waneta lake   We have the upstairs A+B Lake Front Cabin


From Blossburg go North on Route 15 to Corning then Take Rt.17 (I-86) West. Exit at exit 40 (Savona). Turn right at exit and follow Rt.226 North to Tyrone. You will turn left onto Rt.23 into Tyrone. (Tyrone Post Office is on your right once you are on Rt.23) Follow Rt.23 through villages of Tyrone and Weston. Once past Weston, speed limit resumes 55mph. Don't speed up too much as right turn onto Rt.25 is soon. Turn right onto Rt.25 (Waneta Lake Rd.)   Camp Gorton entrance is 1.5mi. on left.

sleeping bag, Pillow,  Blanket if thin sleeping bag, SLIPPERS, PJ’s or night wear,

Tooth brush/Paste, Soap, Shampoo, Comb, Wash cloth, towel


DRESS WARM: extra clothing can be left in cabin or vehicle.  Bring Class A Boy Scout shirt + pack stocking hat, Pack 69 Sweat Shirt, winter boots, Snow suit ( bring extras), Sweat suit or PJ’s to sleep in, , Wool is warmer than cotton, Multiple layers work


Misc: Cards, board games, $ for snack items,  books, SCOUT BOOK, Notebook, Personal snacks sports drink, camera, first aid kit (parents keep meds), SLED, , Unbreakable CUP and CARIBENER .
