Welcome to Pack 69
Pack 69 has a year round Cub Scouting program for boys in 1st-5th grade. Our program includes helping our community, nurturing the growth of our scouts through fun and educational events, and a great family atmosphere for our scouts to learn and grow in. Through our scouting program, boys will discover a welcoming, non-competitive environment where they are free to explore, seek new challenges and express themselves as individuals and as group.
We are an extremely active Pack. In the past we have visited New Market Civil War Memorial in Virginia, The Luray Caverns and Washington DC.
This year we have focused on the outdoors with several camping trips including two at Hills Creek State Park. Most of our cubs attended day camp at Ives run. In August we will begin building bat houses. Bat populations are becoming threatened from the white-nose syndrome. A single bat can eat thousands of mosquitoes in a single night. Both Ives Run and Hills Creek parks have expressed interest in having us mount bat houses on their property.

Recently we toured the Lackawana Coal Mine and rode on the steam driven train at the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton. Currently we are collecting toys for the Ronald McDonald House in Danville, PA. Ronald McDonald houses offer free room and board to children undergoing cancer treatment and their families.
Children in our program attend Blossburg Elementary School. f you wish to join our pack please contact us soon:
